Growing interest in Italian craft cider

Since we launched Angioletti UK at the start of 2016, as we approach the half year point, we are really beginning to see a spike in interest for our craft Italian ciders.  Our Mela Rossa craft Italian cider launched in Bella Italia restaurants nationwide in April, Angioletti craft Italian cider is launching in another national Italian restaurant chain next month, and we have several more very high profile launches to follow in the second half of the year, in both on-premise and retail sectors.

Our Birra Val di Non Italian craft beers have also performed well, with two of our Organic beers: ‘Biava’ and ‘Roen’ launching in Carluccio’s last month, whilst our Bionda Trentina Italian craft beer continues to grow in popularity with independent drinks merchants in particular.

We’ve had a busy spring and the summer is shaping up nicely with lots of events planned, both brand-building consumer events and trade events.  After Marlow Town Regatta and Henley Women’s Regatta, next week our Angioletti pop-up bar will be at The Start enclosure during Henley Royal Regatta, where we’ll be serving both Angioletti Frizzante and Angioletti Rosé with Blueberry sparkling craft Italian ciders to what I’m sure will be a thirsty crowd!

Next stop after Henley Royal Regatta will be “the home of drinks professionals” – Imbibe Live, on 4th & 5th July 2016 at Olympia, London.  We’ll be showing our Angioletti craft Italian ciders and our Birra Val di Non Italian craft beers at The Hop & Apple Bar.

See you soon!
